Bridging Two Worlds Through Design

When we set out to build the identity for Aperitif., our goal was clear: to create a brand that lives at the intersection of old-world Italian ritual and the modern rhythm of Los Angeles. We wanted every element—logo, color, type, and tone—to reflect that duality. The result is a brand that feels warm, intentional, and quietly bold. From the deep greens inspired by olive groves to the serif logo that nods to tradition, we designed Aperitif. to feel like a pause in the day—an invitation to slow down, savor, and connect. This launch is more than a visual system; it’s the start of a cultural experience.

Designing a Feeling Before a Logo

Before we ever put pen to paper, we asked ourselves: What should it feel like to step into Aperitif.? We didn’t start with a logo—we started with a mood. We imagined slow mornings with espresso and sun-warmed tables, late afternoons filled with conversation and clinking glasses. We saw Aperitif. as a bridge: between cultures, between moments, between old-world elegance and LA’s casual confidence. That vision became our north star. Every design decision followed: refined, relaxed, and rooted in ritual. This brand isn’t just seen—it’s felt.

Emotion Through Color

The Aperitif. color palette is a quiet nod to heritage and intention. Deep hunter green evokes the calm of olive groves and the richness of grounded rituals, while auburn brings warmth and vibrancy—a reminder of sunlit aperitivo hours and deep red wines. Silver softens the scene, offering balance and breath between bolder tones, while jet anchors everything with clarity and contrast. Together, these colors create a visual language that feels both timeless and contemporary, perfectly capturing the space Aperitif. occupies-where LA meets Italy.

Typography That Tells a Story

BookmanJFPro Italic is used for expressive headlines, accent text, or stylized subheadings. It brings a refined, vintage sensibility to the brand's typographic palette, reinforcing the blend of old-world elegance and modern precision. This font should be used sparingly to highlight key phrases or brand moments that require emphasis or charm, and always with care to maintain readability across formats.
